Welcome to Dream Africa Vacations. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our travel booking services and website (the “Service”). By making a booking with us, paying a deposit, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking and Contract

1.1 A contract between you (“Client”) and Dream Africa Vacations (“Company”) is formed only when we issue a booking confirmation in writing and receive your deposit payment.

1.2 All bookings must be made through our website booking form, email, phone, or other authorised communication methods.

1.3 You must provide full and accurate information when booking, including traveller names, passport details, contact information, and any other required documentation.

2. Deposits and Payments

2.1 To secure any travel package, activity, or itinerary, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking.

2.2 The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the scheduled departure or first service date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3 If bookings are made within 30 days of departure, full payment must be made upon confirmation.

2.4 Payments may be made via credit card, bank transfer, or any payment method we list on the booking page. All bank transfer fees, exchange rate differences, and transaction costs are the Client’s responsibility.

3. Confirmation of Booking

3.1 Once the Company receives your deposit and booking details, we will issue a Confirmation Invoice via email.

3.2 You must review all information on the Confirmation Invoice and notify us immediately of errors or omissions.

3.3 Your booking is not confirmed until the Confirmation Invoice is issued.

4. Cancellation by the Client

4.1 All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email and are effective on the date we acknowledge receipt.

4.2 Cancellation Fees:

  • More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit (50% of total cost)

  • 30–60 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost

  • 15–29 days before departure: 75% of total tour cost

  • Less than 15 days / No-show: 100% of total tour cost

4.3 No refunds will be issued for unused services if you fail to show up or partially use any booked service once the tour has commenced.

4.4 Special terms may apply during peak travel periods or for bookings involving third-party suppliers whose policies may be stricter.

5. Cancellation by the Company

5.1 Dream Africa Vacations may cancel your booking due to operational reasons, force majeure events (e.g., weather, political unrest, government restrictions), or insufficient group numbers.

5.2 If we cancel your tour:

  • We will offer a full refund of amounts paid excluding any non-refundable supplier charges, or

  • You may choose to accept a credit towards future travel, valid for 12 months.

5.3 The Company is not responsible for additional costs incurred by you due to cancellations beyond our control.

6. Refunds

6.1 Approved refunds will be processed within 7–21 business days after cancellation, less applicable cancellation fees and any charges imposed by third-party suppliers.

6.2 Refunds will be made by the original method of payment where possible.

6.3 If any portion of your trip (e.g., park entrance, flights) is non-refundable according to the supplier, that portion may not be eligible for a refund.

7. Changes and Amendments

7.1 Requests for changes to bookings (dates, number of travellers, services) must be in writing.

7.2 Changes may incur administrative fees, and additional costs may apply. If changes are made close to departure dates, they may be treated as cancellations.

7.3 Once services have commenced, no changes will be accepted.

8. Travel Insurance

8.1 We strongly recommend that all Clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation costs, medical expenses, lost luggage, and other unforeseen circumstances before departure.

9. Client Responsibilities

9.1 Clients must be in possession of valid travel documents (passport, visas, health certificates) for the duration of the trip.

9.2 Clients must comply with the laws, rules, and regulations of destinations visited.

9.3 Clients are responsible for their personal belongings and safety.
